Beyoncé’s Renaissance LP earned her 9 nominations ahead of the 2023 Grammys which will take place Sunday, Feb. 5.
The 2023 GRAMMY nominations have been announced and Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and Adele lead the pack with the most nominations of the night for their respectively released projects this past year. Beyoncé scored nine nominations for Renaissance (Parkwood). Kendrick Lamar earned eight nominations for Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (PGLang / TDE).
Many nominees were missing from this year’s GRAMMY awards ceremonies including Nicki Minaj’s No. 1 chart-topping single ‘Super Freaky Girl’ in which Nicki vocalized biases from the GRAMMY board for miscategorizing the single earlier after the Pre-Grammy announcements occured. R&B acts like Summer Walker, Kehlani & Ari Lennox and many more were not included in any of the lineups for their respective genre categories. Many took to Twitter to vocalize their upset regarding the missing artists:
and kehlani and ari, like it’s blatant disrespect at this point

with that being the case I’m also surprised Ari Lennox, Summer Walker & Rayvn Lenae didn’t get nominations unless they didn’t submit
