Virgil Abloh: Remembering A Cultural Icon

Virgil Abloh dies at 41.

Virgil Abloh is undeniably the one of the most important fashion, artistic and cultural architect in recent history. From curating creative direction for Kanye West, building a home for high-end streetwear in Chicago with RSVP Gallery and becoming the first black menswear designer of Louis Vuitton — Virgil’s influence is to be celebrated and remember for decades to come, globally, and especially here in Chicago.

Virgil’s neon-adorned RSVP Gallery is also the reason we started using versions of our neon logo. We’ll never forget his impact. We will forever cherish and create in his memory in the best way possible. Rest in power Virgil.
