Rihanna Officially Named Fashion Icon

International pop icon Rihanna will be officially honored as Fashion Icon of this year’s CFDA Awards by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Rihanna has collaborated with fashion and beauty houses like Balmain, River Island and MAC and more. Steven Kolb, CFDA CEO, said: ‘We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion’s most exciting ambassador in recent memory.’ This year’s ceremony will take place on June 2nd in New York, in collaboration with Swarovski.
