Shaolinn‘s powerful and striking music video for ‘Heavy Heart‘, directed by Riley Robins, captures the crippling fear and self-doubt that many young people experience. The video highlights the sobering moment when one succumbs to the many pressures, fears, and seemingly impossible standards.

The song is about having the pressure on your shoulders and heart to the point where you carry those past feelings and experiences into future situations. A lot of time that can result in being insecure in relationships, ruining friendships, and sometimes even result in family members not getting along. So the song is about insecurities and problems that I have within myself caused by these experiences.
