Tinashe returns with a ominous club track,”Die a Little Bit,” featuring U.K-based Ms. Banks.
Following her split with RCA Records, Tinashe promised her fans a series of ‘songsforyou‘ via Instagram. Rumors circulated that she signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation shortly after the departure with RCA. Last month, Tinashe shot down those rumors last month during a run-in with TMZ.
In the C Prinz-directed clip, Tinashe vibes out with her crew and drinks, smokes, dance and “die a little bit” alongside London rapper Ms. Banks.
Creatively, I just feel like I needed to go through what I went through in order to be the person that I am today and to get back to my roots. You pretty much put your heart and soul and emotions into all these songs, and then you put them out there for the world to judge and tear down and pick apart. It’s terrifying, and it can really mess with your head.
