2018 is shaping up to be a big year for the self-proclaimed boy band, who made their MTV debut on the February 1st episode of TRL. They put on a flawless performance of Boogie in the heart of Times Square, and now they’re gearing up for their music festival run later on this year.
Unlike your typical boy band, Brockhampton is a group 15 deep, led by young visionary Kevin Abstract and consisting of rappers, singers, and producers- with some even coming from different countries, but all of whom play an integral part in the groups seemingly overnight success. In a group this large and diverse, they have somehow managed to maintain their individual originality, while still displaying a cohesion unlike any other boy band before.
With lyrics that address sexuality, racism, and many other social, political, and economic issues, Brockhampton obviously came to win. They are fearless, they are confident, and they are the ones to watch in 2018. Check out their links below:
