Kid Cudi Says His Last Collaboration With Kanye West is on Pusha T’s ‘It’s Almost Dry’ Album

End of an era? Kid Cudi says Kanye West is not his friend.

Former GOOD Music signee Kid Cudi says that his upcoming collaboration “Rock N Roll” featuring Kanye West and Pusha T will be the last time he works with Kanye which will appear on the upcoming album It’s Almost Dry (GOOD / Def Jam) due on Friday (Apr. 22).

After releasing Kids See Ghost in 2018, Kanye West has recently professed that he took Cudi off Donda 2 due to his friendship with actor and comedian Pete Davidson who he’s had a public disliking due to his newly found relationship with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Kanye West posted to Instagram (and since deleted) that Cudi “will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who,” adding “we all speak in Billie language now.” Cudi responded to the post in the comments, saying “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u fuckin dinosaur hahaha 🤣.” He also responded separately on Twitter, writing: “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.” West has since expressed feelings of betrayal, writing “I JUST WANTED MY FRIEND TO HAVE MY BACK THE KNIFE JUST GOES IN DEEPER” on a now-deleted Instagram post that featured a group photo with Davidson’s face X’d out. Kid Cudi took to Twitter to say this regarding the upcoming collab:

Hopefully this is just a short stint and brief argument between the longtime collaborators. Stay tuned for Pusha T’s upcoming LP + check the tour dates below.
