Joey Bada$$ has clarified he is now “legally blind” on social media today.
On Tuesday, Joey had announced that three dates of Logic‘s Everybody’s Tour had been canceled, which almost instantly had fans speculating as to why. Most made jokes about the rapper’s tweets about staring out the eclipse on Monday without any eye protection.

On Thursday the situation was even a topic on Ebro in the Morning, where the group even called Joey to ask about the rumors. Joey picked up and said he was “legally blind” and that he is “all good.” To which the group took as a joke while Joey even laughed with the trio.

Joey confirmed rumors via Twitter and Instagram, but he seems to be taking it with stride saying “Doc said I gotta keep these on in the daytime now…. a lil annoying but they’re fire.” Later on, Joey had clarified even further in a video he had posted.

Joey isn’t scheduled to perform until mid-September, according to his website, but it is unclear how, or if, these performances will still happen.
