The hottest trio in rap is back with Culture II.
Atlanta hip-hop trio, Migos has released their latest project ‘Culture II‘ on the anniversary of their sophomore album, ‘Culture‘. During the promotional tour for the album, Migos have sat down and discussed their place in hip-hop. While in LA visiting Big Boy on POWER 106, Offset controversially expresses the group’s status:
“We the biggest group ever. Ever in hip-hop, pop, all of it. Because every genre is motivated or structured off [our sound].”
Regardless if you agree with the group’s confidence or not, you can not deny the impact of the group’s influence with the current landscape of music. As anticipation grows for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards where the hip-hop group is nominated for Best Rap Album (Culture) & Best Rap Performance (Bad & Boujee featuring Lil Uzi Vert), the trio may have more to celebrate on Sunday (January 28).
The album boasts 24 tracks and features from Drake, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign, Cardi B, and Post Malone. Production credits from executive producer, DJ Durel, Metro Boomin’, Honorable C. Note, Travis Scott, and Kanye West.
