Roddy Ricch Lands No. 1 with The Box on Billboard’s Hot 100

Roddy Ricch scores his first number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart.

Rap game newcomer Roddy Ricch leads this week’s of Billboard’s Hot 100 rising to No. 1 with his single “The Box” after placing No. 3 last week, beating out Justin Bieber’s latest release “Yummy” which enters the charts at No. 2.

The track by the 21-year-old Compton, California, native hits the Hot 100’s summit in its fifth week on the chart, as it tallies a second week at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs survey, surging by 60% to 68.2 million U.S. streams in the week ending Jan. 9, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
