Megan Thee Stallion Breaks Silence on Tory Lanez Incident

Meg confirms to fans she’s recovering from the shooting involving Tory Lanez.

Megan Thee Stallion got on Instagram Live on Monday (Jul 27) to confirm she’s currently healing from gunshots inside both feet following Tory Lanez arrest for carrying a concealed weapon. Megan has yet to name the shooter in the incident after a meeting with Kylie Jenner.

During the broadcast, Megan cried about how terrified and disappointed she was and addressed the jokes and memes surrounding the incident:

“It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to start going and making up fake stories about,” Megan said. “I ain’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do sh*t. And thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones or break tendons… where the bullets hit at, they missed everything but the motherf*ckers were in there.” she continued, “It’s not that I was protecting anybody, I just wasn’t ready to speak,” she said of her two-week silence. “That’s not no sh*t that you just immediately get on the internet and start talking about. And that’s a lot of y’all’s motherf*ckin’ problem — you take y’all whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a f*cking diary and that’s not me. So f*ck y’all blogs with your fake a** sources and your fake *ss friends. But on a positive note, taking some time to myself has made me realize how to move forward.”
