M.I.A. has announced a new line of designer merch in collaboration with Astrid Andersen.
The collection includes track pants, anoraks, and t-shirts, all of which incorporate visuals from M.I.A.’s album from last year AIM and are reworked items from Astrid Andersen’s Spring 2017 collection. When asked about working with Andersen, M.I.A. said she chose to do the collaboration because “she is an independent who combines function, sport, simplicity, and futurism. It all very much suits [M.I.A.’s] personal style because it’s utilitarian—you can wear it to a club because everything is light.”
The collection is set to fall in line with M.I.A.’s world tour this fall. Check it out online
