Lil’ Wayne ‘Tha Carter IV’ x DJ Khaled ‘We The Best Forever’ Pushed Back

YMCMB supporters will have to wait to hear new music from both Lil’ Wayne and DJ Khaled. Lil’ Wayne hotly anticipated ninth studio, Tha Carter IV, will now have a due date of August 29th. According to MTV, Young Money President Mack Maine said:

“He’s still perfecting a few things, he’s a perfectionist … changing a few lines,”  Mack Maine continues, hinting that they were waiting on some huge features to complete the album. “If you calculate all of that, by the time we would’ve finished mixing, we wouldn’t have met the [original] due date to turn in the album.”

At least you’ll have Lil’ Wayne latest single “How To Love” to hold you over for this two month extension.

DJ Khaled‘s upcoming album, We The Best Forever, will also is receive a later date. DJ Khaled’s fifth LP will now be released on July 19th. Mr. We The Best recently shot a music video for his charting single, “I’m On One,” in Miami last week. Stay tuned for any date changes that may occur.
