Like All Icons, Gucci Mane is Getting His Own Biopic

After the success of his memoir, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, Guwop is set to receive the full-fledged biopic treatment.

Last September Gucci Mane released his highly anticipated memoir detailing his life from birth to through his lengthy prison system. Going from the archetypal street hustler to rap legend, Gucci’s story is nothing short of incredible and well deserving of being made into a film.

The rights to the film were acquired by Paramount Pictures and Imagine Entertainment – the same production team behind previous biopics like 8 Mile and the acclaimed series Empire. There isn’t a known time frame for the film’s release yet, but we will be waiting for details anxiously. Check out our review of his memoir here and pick up a copy through Amazon or most booksellers.
