The latest video from Jamila Woods has dropped and she calls on Chance The Rapper for “LSD“
Earlier this year, the duo, Jamila Woods and Chance the Rapper, solicited to Chicago Public School students to pitch them their ideas for the “LSD” video. A senior at Prosser Career Academy, Ashley Huicochea, won the contest and was given the opportunity to shadow the directorial pair of Sam Bailey and Vincent Martell. You can see Ashley, and six other CPS winners that were allowed to shadow the crew, in the making of documentary.
The video is a complete celebration of summertime Chicago. Between backyard family parties, the serenity of Lake Michigan, and bubbles in a front yard kiddie pool the video really shows the experience of “tripping off the happiness of being in summertime Chicago.”
