Earth, Wind & Fire Team Up With Babyface and Lucky Daye for Their New Track
The iconic Earth, Wind, & Fire drop their new single ‘You Want My Love‘
Nine-time GRAMMY® Award-winning icons and one of the best-selling artists of all time Earth, Wind & Fire revisit their timeless hit ‘Can’t Hide Love‘, with their newest track ‘You Want My Love‘. The group teamed up with 4-time GRAMMY® Award nominee Lucky Daye and 12-time GRAMMY® Award winner Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds to put a modernistic spin on their classic sound. Lucky approaches the track with a contemporary take- making it his own while simultaneously maintaining the essence of the original version that Earth, Wind & Fire fans have recognized for four decades.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of the chart-topping single, which was originally released on the ‘studio side’ of Earth, Wind & Fire’s double-live album, Gratitude, in 1975. ‘Can’t Hide Love’ peaked in the Billboard Top 40 Pop, reached #11 on the R&B Singles charts, and earned the band a GRAMMY®-nomination for Best Arrangement For Voices in 1977.
