Jay-Z is adding another source of revenue to his arsenal.
Billionaire rapper JAY-Z is adding cannabis company owner to his portfolio. The new cannabis brand launched last Friday (Oct. 23) is called Monogram. JAY-Z has an onslaught of endeavors including his multi-million dollar evaluated media streaming service TIDAL ($100 million), spirits provider with D’ussé VSOP and Armand de Brignac Brut Champagne ($410 million) and music label, educational, sports agency exec. with Roc Nation.

The announcement of the new cannabis line partnership with California cannabis company Caliva. The company website describes the new venture as a new chapter in cannabis defined by dignity:

In 2019, JAY-Z joined the Caliva company as chief brand strategist.
“We think this is a sea (of) change in terms of the visibility to the industry,” he told CNN, “We take this partnership with a lot of responsibility, a lot of humility, a lot of accountability moving forward.”
According to the Monogram website, “From soil to seed, the expert growers at Monogram leverage a lifetime of cultivation experience to ensure our flower is treated with the respect it deserves through every stage of the grow process. Precise control and constant monitoring allow our flower to reach its full potential as a superior smoke.”
