What they most value from your multicultural heritage?I love that I am I. It would not change anything.
Who are your biggest musical influences?Musically, I have so many influences! My parents always listened to musicat home in Connecticut, where I grew up. The music had varied from Parliament Funkadelic and Carole King to Stevie Wonder. As artist believe that the music to which you are exposed when you’re young has much influence in themusic that you decide to create. I also went through a phase of Jimi Hendrix, it was interesting. I used to listen to the old toilet of my father eight-track tapes. I also love to Janet Jackson and of course to Aaliyah. You’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the industry the music. With whom you want to work one day reach?Prince, would be awesome. Is that not everyone answer to that question?
We hear that you are working on a new album. Can you give us? a track? What can we expect? It’s top secret! LOL! I will let the music speak for itself. Something that I am going to say is that I love. What is your routine before getting to the stage?I relax with friends, good vibras… do not need much. Candles, sweets, wine and before you even think to leave the stage, pray. You’re the face of the brand of Carol’s Daughter beauty products. What are the qualities you admire its founder Lisa Price? She is very kind, talented, and it’s great to see so far that can reach awomen and a dream.
Have you once considered another act or go on TV?I’ve done some things. I would love to do more; the film is ideal for me. It’s something probably I will spend more time with. I would love to work with David Fincher or Oliver Stone. What are the pros and cons of being a person with so many talents? different? That sounds pretty epic. I do not see it that way. Honestly, I feel blessed to do what I do and be creative; I only try to approach me to constantly grow and be the best Cassie that I can be.
What you’d be doing today if you’re not an artist? It would be chef and owner of a museum. I really like the modern art….
Not many people may as well carry a half-shaven head, do you consider yourself a risky person? My hair was not a risk for me. I just did it. I loved it. Yet still love it. Myself risky? We must live… If you do not risk not wanting to. Life is boring if you paint inside the lines.
