The songwriter behind H.E.R. and Kehlani slips to the forefront.
New Orleans-based singer-songwriter Ambré has been behind some of our favorite tracks like “Changes” and “U” from H.E.R.‘s Grammy-nominated project and recently vocal produced Kehlani’s “Can I” from It Was Good Until it Wasn’t (TSNMI / Atlantic). She released her debut EP Pulp (Roc Nation) back in November 2019 which featured Jean Deaux and BJ The Chicago Kid and will release a Director’s Cut of the project this Friday (Jul 31st).
Last Wednesday, the visual Slip featuring Beam was co-directed by Jamar Harding & Amanda Reifer which shows Ambré casually fencing with friends, lighting a spliff and taking a walk in her neighborhood.
Watch the visual on the player below + stay tuned for the Director’s Cut of Ambré’s project coming Friday.
